Drop Ins

Since 2017 StrokeInformation we have been running our very own drop In’s !!!   You can now visit us at Disability Stockport, High Street, Stockport SK1 1EG on a Monday 10am – 12 Noon    Appointment not necessary, just drop by and say hi.  (Credit to Ben for spotting the mistake)   We can arrange video calls via SKYPE, ZOOM, MS Teams.  The main thing to remember is YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

We are not restricting ourselves on the information, support, guidance we offer and if you would like to know more or you would like StrokeInformation and SteadyEddie to do a drop in near you, then please let us know by contacting us via contactus@strokeinformation.co.uk  or if its for Eddie, please send to SteadyEddie@strokeinformation.co.uk.

Peer Support, we offer a truly unique service which is based upon lived experience and this is embraced within StrokeInformation and we see this as a positive rather than a hindrance.   We are empowered to talk about our own journeys and share the many difficulties we have endured and we have found this really powerful in the terms of support we can offer.  This work ranges from providing practical support with benefits, travel passes, blue badges, developing a person centred well being plan to address not only short term goals but longer term and hopefully employment once again if the stroke survivor is of working age but if not to make them feel worthy and part of something once more.

Whilst navigating the social care and health care system, we have the experience and we would love the opportunity to help you or a loved one.
