2020 – 1st February

Hello and welcome to February 2020, yes the day the UK has left the European Union, we have heard about it for a while now and yes its finally happened,   So what does it all mean and in particular, what does it mean to Stroke Information, in short NOTHING.  Stroke Information was built on solid foundations which is echoed in our strapline or hashtag…..simply #WeCareBecauseWeveBeenThere.     It really is that simple, we can provide, information, support, guidance, motivation and above all else HOPE.   No promises but possibilities (Sorry Kate, had to pinch it) in the last week, through Kate Allatt the international acclaimed published author and Stroke survivor herself, introduced Stroke Information to Lisa Deck from the U S of A and we chatted for about an hour, we laughed for about 55 minutes of that hour but we also had that instant recognition and hidden bond that all stroke survivors have, we know exactly what the other one has faced.  Which also fits in with Brexit a little, WE DONT CARE WHERE YOU ARE FROM, England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, France, Germany, Holland, Australia, United States of America, Outer Mongolia or even another planet, IF YOU NEED HELP, we are here for you.  Don’t count the days, make every day count!!
