Well done Tim, I think we can all relate to a lot of the details mentioned. Another fantastic amount of new people coming to our FREE weekly drop ins at Disability Stockport, which is a fully accessible building in the heart of Stockport for anyone to attend every Wednesday morning between the hours of 09:30 to 12 midday. We had over 39 visitors in February, which is amazing and to quote Cllr Laura Booth, the Mayor of Stockport, who visited last month. “What you do is so important to the people impacted by Stroke in Stockport and beyond”.
One new area to the website is a who’s who guide, so you can actually see who are directors / trustees are, complete with a little biography about their own journey and why they are involved in this charity #WeCareBecauseWeveBeeThere.
