2020 – November

Well this year is finally nearly over, its been a very surreal year, it really has, but we have to dust ourselves down and go again and to be fair in the last fortnight we have seen how powerful StrokeInformation is, we have been contacted by people impacted by Stroke in the Essex area and another family nearer to where our office is located but their issues are all to common, they didn’t know who to turn to, who can help, what to expect, what to look for, who to ask.  Yes there are others that suggest they can help but if you want someone who has true understanding then you needn’t look any further StrokeInformation are your vehicle to achieve things.

It wouldn’t be fair nor would it be professional to name the persons involved but suffice to say that we currently are helping a chap in his 60’s challenge a decision to a mandatory reconsideration notice, others have tried including a solicitor acting on behalf of a disability rights organisation and havent achieved anything, now we are saying that we would like to try because we are able to put the information to them in a way that no-one else ever could, watch this space on this one.   Our other is the husband of a haemorrhagic stroke survivor who’s only help they have received is off an army vets organisation again a bit to do on this one yet but we will get there and also another Stroke survivor who has had Craniotomy and is currently in a hospital which is also enduring COVID restrictions so his family cannot visit but there are other means to ensure they remain in contact and give them support and information that they may have not even considered and we believe and stand by our tagline, #WeCareBecauseWeveBeenThere
