June 2014
Wow this year is flying so so fast, SSA 2014 is now over and Ive managed to support the Stroke Science Art Project and met other survivors who again raise awareness and promote the ethos that there is life after Stroke. Some sad news to report, my dog’s best dog friend Bella has just passed away at the turn of the month and she had a stroke!! even Dogs can have Stroke’s, RIP Bella, you will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
On happier notes my cousin’s daughter (17) has just kicked off the FA Cup ladies final at Milton Keynes for Everton ladies, unfortunately she was on the losing side but she has made the family so proud even the ones looking over from higher grounds
Right lets turn that frown upside down, a fellow stroke survivor and true inspiration of fighting strokes Mrs Kate Allatt who is 44 (same age as I will be in July) she recovered from Locked In Syndrome and with the support of her family Mark, Woody, India & Harvey along with her friends is off to Buck House today (3rd June) to meet the Queen !! Yes I have dared her to take a #Selfie !! 🙂
